Wedding cakes and Celebration cakes.

We are certain that we will compliment your celebration with a cake that your guests will talk about.

In order to cater for everybody`s tastes, we offer a number of flavours:-

Traditional rich fruit cake. After marinating the fruit, the cake is made at least three months in advance of the occasion and liberally fed with brandy whilst maturing to ensure a rich moist cake with a home-made flavour.  Coated in a generous layer of marzipan the cake can then be covered in sugarpaste icing.

Chocolate layered cake with Belgian chocolate buttercream and covered with almond rich marzipan. Top coating of wickedly rich ganache (a silky sauce of Belgian chocolate and fresh double cream), or a delicious covering of smooth chocolate sugarpaste.  Finally decorations, Dark, milk or white chocolate curls, truffles, flowers, fruit and so much more!  Chocolate Wedding cakes are becoming increasingly popular, and may be used as the dessert at the wedding feast, perhaps with cream or fresh fruit coulis.

Carrot cake, this rich moist spicy cake filled with lemon or orange buttercream, is a favourite amoung guests.

Vanilla sponge, vanilla buttercream, raspberry jam.

Lemon sponge, lemon buttercream and lemon curd.

Orange sponge, orange buttercream, orange marmalade.

Cupcakes for all occasions, different flavours, topped with luscious buttercream, chocolate fudge, whipped cream or various coloured icing.

Other flavours available on request. Dietary requirements can be catered for with sponge cakes being prepared without eggs.

For additional cake slices consider a `kitchen cake’ made to the same high standard and coated to match the other cakes.  This is then given directly to the caterers for cutting.
